How to Create a Distribution Provisioning Profile?
The distribution provisioning profile consists of a name, a distribution certificate, and an app ID. The name is used only so that you can identify a provisioning profile. A provisioning profile is valid for one year.
This guide will show you how to create a Distribution Provisioning Profile in the iOS provisioning Portal. To create a Distribution Provisioning Profile, you need to have an Apple Developer account and be a member of the iOS Developer Program.
Step 1. Go to te Apple Developer Center iOS Provisioning Portal
Log in Apple Developer Center, then click "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles".
Step 2. Create Provisioning Profile
Under iOS Apps, select "Provisioning Profiles".
Click on the "+" sign at the top right corner to create a new profile. In the next interface you will need to select the type of profile you are trying to collect.
Under Distribution (If you want to create profile for an app to submit to AppStore, please select "App Store". If you want to create profile to an app to test on your iOS device, please select "Ad Hoc").
Next choose the app ID for the app you want to distribute.
Now you have to select the the certificates that you will include in the profile.
In the next window you have to create a name for your profile.
When you are done click "Generate"
Step 3. Downoad Provisioning Profile
You have now completed your provisioning profile.
Click the Download button to download the file to your machine.
Step 4. Select Provisioning Profile
Open iCreateApp, click "Add" button to select the .mobileprovision file you downloaded it.
